Good Bye April, Sorry For Not Posting During You...(almost)

Seriously I cannot believe how bad of a poster I have been lately! Actually, I can, we have been a busy bunch around here! I am going to sum up our March and April in one GIGANTIC post so please don't get bored, fall asleep, drool on your computer, break it and then sue me for the price of a new one!

Here goes:

Lets see, um, Easter? Sure, I'll start there. Everett did the his first big Easter egg hunt up at the Britt Grounds in Jacksonville, there are no pictures to capture the moment because Darling decided to cry and not find any eggs. Easter Sunday we did an egg hunt at Grammi and Papa's after church and we were much more excited about that one (I'm pretty sure he was jacked on sugar).

Everett will talk up a storm now and repeat EVERYTHING (yes, everything). He has been attending gymnastics and so far doesn't seem to know how he feels about it... we are gonna give it a couple more try's and then see what else looks exciting. Maybe music?

I can't believe Corbin is just a week away from being 11 months old! Time flies! His voice is getting stronger every day (yipee! she says sarcastically) He now dances, claps, crawls, claps and says "yay" (no joke, its hilarious) has 4 teeth, stands up independently for a short amount of time, and can pretty much take down his brother. He is one tough cookie!

Doug has started bike race season. He has done fantastic in all his races, despite lots of mechanical issues. We are looking forward to another fun Spring and Summer filled with racing action! He also ran the Pear Blossom 10 mile again this year. His time was 1 hour 6 minutes and he ended up in the top 10 in his age group! Way to run, forrest!! We are very proud :)

As for me, well, the reason I have been such a slacker poster is I've gone back to school! I am attending a distance learning program through Chemeketa Community College in Salem to get certified as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant. The ultimate goal of this certification is to get a job working with students who need speech therapy (usually in a school setting). I am super excited about it. It is challenging attending school 3/4 time with 2 little ones but Doug has been a fantastic partner and is always willing to pick up the slack. I also have lots of great family that thankfully love my kids almost as much as I do.

I will try to be better about posting shorter more frequent posts so you all don't go into a coma reading these Bible length ones! Hope everyone is enjoying the Spring!!
