Camping Olympics 2010
Oh yes, we had our second annual Camping Olympics camp out last weekend. This event was created by our awesomely competitive friends, the Saunders'. The purpose of C.O. is to participate in exciting games such as, Cribbage, "Extreme" Bocce, Badminton, Horseshoes... along with "Top Chef" quickfire challenge, cocktail challenge, and a newcomer "Minute to Win It". We had an awesome time, laughed a TON and enjoyed the fantastic company of friends.

Balloons Vs. Dragons
Rogue Valley Balloon Rally! Woke up early and enjoyed watching the balloons take off, didn't get many pictures, just enjoyed the moment. :)

Annual Children's Festival! Everett had SOOO much fun this year! He ran through the gates and wanted to go to every booth... we did the handprints in plaster, face painting, panning for gold and treasure, sand art, and fed both dragons! Straws are a dragon's favorite :) Poor Corbin was just a little to young to enjoy anything, so we didn't get any pictures of him.... the perils of a second child.

Hot Time, Summer in the Country!
Finally it is feeling like Summer in the Rogue Valley! We've been spending our afternoons at the park or pool, soaking up the sun.

We did the usual for the 4th. Went to the Ashland parade, it was incredibly disappointing, no naked people, drag queens or war (peace?) activists. We ditched the dull parade a little early and made our way down to Lithia Park for some delicious street food and a picnic in the park. Afterwards we headed to Doug's dads house to spend the evening with the family followed by the Medford fireworks! The boys didn't get to bed until 10:30pm, but still woke up at 6am... that was awesome.

My goal this summer was to go on fun "day" adventures with the boys, experiences like visiting a farm, going to the beach, art projects etc... so far we've done nothing (except an ill fated, possible brain damaging pot painting adventure). I won't give up though! We have some fun things planned for this weekend so stay tuned! :)

Memorial Day Camping
It's been one heck of a year Coco!
My precious coco is one! We made it! Corbin is so much fun, he is quick with a smile and a laugh. He loves to sing and dance. He says "uh-oh" a lot and LOVES to wrestle with his brother. He is truly a joy and we are so happy to have him in our family, I can't imagine life without him! Happy birthday Bear, we love seeing you grow!

Lordy Lordy, Doug is 40!
Spring Thaw 2010
Doug competed again in the Spring Thaw mountain bike race in Ashland, OR. He did great and had some seriously tough competition!

Everett also competed in his first bike race! The Shimano Kids Race. He was the youngest participant and came in dead last... Haha! We were so excited he even did it, and he got a very cool medal :)
